CAMPUS Series EP.2 - The Second Time Is Never Accidental

Have you ever run into someone

for the second time -

and felt that it couldn't possibly

be coincidence?

That's where we are now.

This is The CAMPUS Series.

A tarot storytelling project where emotions

are understood through story -

not through memorization.

Have you ever felt it?

That quiet, unexplainable feeling

when someone catches your attention —

not because they did anything remarkable,

but because something in you

simply said: pay attention.

No reason.

No logic.

Just a feeling without a name yet.

This is a story about that moment.

This is not a love story yet.

But it might become one.

Each episode follows Seoha and Jihoon

as their days quietly begin to overlap.

And with each scene,

a tarot card reveals the feeling

that words alone can't quite capture.

๐ŸŽ“ The Background

It's the first week of a new semester.

The campus is full of faces

that don't yet know each other.

Relationships are neither fast

nor clear at this point.

Emotions in this season are always careful.

Getting even a little closer

suddenly feels meaningful.

And sometimes, without anything happening at all,

your heart runs ahead of you.

At the center of this story are two people:

Seoha —

honest with her emotions,

but never one to rush a connection.

She's careful, because this feeling is new.

Jihoon —

warm and grounded,

not experienced in love,

always one step behind

when it comes to his own feelings.

Nothing has started yet.

But their days are beginning

to overlap in the same quiet space.

๐Ÿ“ Scene 01 · The Library

A library is always quiet.

But quiet doesn't reach the heart.

The sound of pages turning.

Keyboards tapping.

A chair scraping softly across the floor.

Everyone moving in their own silence.

Jihoon is walking slowly

between the bookshelves,

looking for materials for an assignment.

He's still not familiar

with the layout of this library —

and keeps finding himself

back at the same spot.

Then —

At the edge of his vision,

a familiar silhouette appears.

Seoha.

Jihoon stops walking

without meaning to.

He lifts his head

one beat too late,

as if steadying himself.

But Seoha is not alone.

๐Ÿƒ The Magician  — The Moment Someone Becomes More

The Magician

Keywords :

Seeing a new side of someone ·

The moment they suddenly seem more capable ·

When the balance of attention quietly shifts

The Magician stands confidently,

one hand pointing to the sky,

one hand pointing to the earth.

He is someone who knows how to use

what he has -

and makes it look effortless.

This card appears in the moment

you see someone in a new context

and suddenly think:

"I didn't know they were like this."

The person you thought you understood

reveals another layer.

And without realizing it,

something shifts inside you.

Seoha is standing beside someone else,

looking at materials together,

talking easily.

Her smile isn't big.

But it's natural.

Comfortable.

It's an ordinary scene.

But Jihoon's heart

stops in front of it.

๐Ÿ“ Scene 02 · An Expression He Hadn't Seen Before

The Seoha he first met

was quiet and composed.

Someone who didn't say much —

who spoke slowly, only when needed.

But the Seoha he sees now

is making easy eye contact with someone,

keeping a conversation going naturally.

'She makes that expression too.'

๐Ÿƒ Page of Cups - When the Heart Responds Before the Mind Does

Page of Cups

Keywords:

Innocent curiosity ·

The heart reacting before words form ·

Unexplained feelings beginning to stir

The Page of Cups is always surprised

by what appears in the cup —

a feeling that arrived

without being invited.

This card appears when

you haven't even admitted you like someone -

and yet a single expression on their face

makes your heart respond first.

Not logic. Not decision.

Just - reaction.

Jihoon's thoughts

drift quietly

in a different direction.

Maybe —

he was the only one

who gave it meaning.

The conversation at the lecture hall door.

The moment she said his name.

Maybe those were just

the kind of small kindnesses

anyone might offer.

He draws a line for himself

before he's even confirmed anything.

๐Ÿƒ Eight of Swords - The Walls We Build Ourselves

Eight of Swords

Keywords:

Trapped by your own thoughts ·

The barrier isn't the situation — it's the mind ·

Standing still when nothing is actually blocking you

The Eight of Swords shows a figure

standing blindfolded,

surrounded by swords —

but the swords don't touch her.

The blindfold is the real trap.

This card appears when

the situation hasn't changed -

but your thoughts have already

built a wall around you.

What's stopping you from moving forward

isn't the other person.

It's the story you're telling yourself

about what might happen if you do.

๐Ÿ“ Scene 03 · Thoughts That Arrive Too Early

It's still daytime —

but the worries that belong to midnight

are already here.

What if I say something

and it becomes awkward.

What if I'm the only one

making something out of nothing.

He hasn't even started —

and he's already prepared to be hurt.

๐Ÿƒ Nine of Swords - Hurting From Something That Hasn't Happened Yet

Nine of Swords

Keywords:

Anxiety before any real event ·

The mind that won't stop at night ·

Emotions growing sharper the deeper the thoughts go

The Nine of Swords shows a figure

sitting up in the dark,

face in their hands —

unable to sleep,

unable to stop thinking.

This card appears when

the heart has already been wounded

by something that hasn't happened yet.

The longer the thoughts go,

the further sleep retreats.

Jihoon glances toward Seoha

but can't bring himself to walk over.

He picks up a book he already looked at.

Checks his phone for no reason.

The harder he tries to look natural,

the more awkward his movements become.

'If I go over now -

I'll just be interrupting.'

And so he waits

one beat too long.

๐Ÿƒ Page of Swords - Watching Before Moving

Page of Swords

Keywords:

Wanting to approach but observing first.

The heart moves — but the words stay careful.

The more uncertain, the more you watch and think

The Page of Swords is sharp and alert —

always watching,

always thinking,

always gathering information

before making a move.

This card appears when

the heart is already in motion

but the words haven't caught up yet.

When you're not sure enough to speak -

so you watch instead.

๐Ÿ“ Scene 04 · Eye Contact

A moment later —

Seoha looks up

and finds Jihoon.

Standing a little way off.

Their eyes meet.

Seoha hesitates for just a moment —

then smiles first and says hello.

"Jihoon, right?

We keep running into each other."

๐Ÿƒ Page of Cups - A Small Courage

Page of Cups

Keywords:

Speaking first isn't certainty — it's interest .

A quiet but clear gesture .

Still light, but unmistakably there

The Page of Cups always carries

a small act of courage.

Not a confession.

Not a declaration.

Just — reaching out,

lightly,

before you're completely sure.

Speaking first means :

I noticed you.

I'm not pretending I didn't.

๐Ÿ“ Scene 05 · One Beat Too Slow

But Jihoon's response

comes a little late.

"Oh… yeah."

A short answer.

A smile that's slightly stiff.

Seoha feels the difference

in that instant.

Is he in a bad mood?

Did she make things awkward

by laughing and talking with someone else?

๐Ÿƒ Five of Cups - The Distance That Feels Bigger Than It Is

Five of Cups

Keywords:

Nothing lost — but something feels different .

A subtle distance that feels larger because of expectation .

Wistfulness is just another name for caring

The Five of Cups shows a figure

standing with their back turned,

looking at what spilled —

not noticing what remains.

This card appears when

nothing has actually been lost -

but the atmosphere has shifted,

and that shift feels significant

because you were paying attention.

You only feel the distance

because you were close enough

to notice it.

๐Ÿ“ Closing

After a brief exchange,

the two of them

head to different parts of the library.

The library is still quiet.

But Jihoon's mind

is full of his own thoughts.

And Seoha's heart

carries a lingering feeling

she can't quite name.

๐Ÿƒ Page of Cups - Love Hasn't Started Yet. But Something Has.

Page of Cups

Keywords:

Not love yet .

But the heart is quietly filling up .

The beginning that doesn't announce itself

The Page of Cups doesn't rush.

It doesn't declare.

It simply holds something

with both hands -

carefully,

without knowing yet

what it will become.

This is that card.
